As a person of below average height--I'm 5'3"--, often finding a jumpsuit that fits right can be hard! Luckily, this season, a lot of our designers are catering to folks just like me and I wanted to do a little round up for all you petite folks out there of my favorite one pieces.
First up is the Goa by Pillar. This jumpsuit is cropped and available in black and copper. I've seen it on 5' frames and it looks great! This is also that unicorn jumpsuit that dresses up and down AND has no closures, so it's an easy one to get in and out of--or, you know, use the restroom in. I highly recommend this one for travel, too: I wear it with straight-up athletic sneakers for walking around a city, but it pairs well with black ankle boots for a night out or even heels. Throw a sweater on over for a separates look, too.
The next jumpsuit on my list is another cropped number by Ursa Minor Studio, the Louis Jumper. This one has a slightly looser fit that can accommodate different waist/leg proportions well. If you're a little bigger through the hips and butt, you may want to size up. I like this one for the length and how relaxed it is--it's got that elevated mechanic's suit vibe. This one also goes well with sneakers and boots alike and will cross seasons nicely. Available in terracotta and black.
Our newest line, Filosofia has two great jumpsuit options for short folks. The Ella jumpsuit is a relaxed jersey suit perfect for running around in. This one has wide, cropped legs and is definitely a more casual jumpsuit. Jersey means it's comfortable and an easier fit. This one just pulls on and off.
The other jumpsuit by Filosofia is a similar cut in linen, the Sam Jumpsuit. I sized up in this because the material has less stretch to pull over hips/butt. It has sweet petal cut legs and is a perfect lightweight summer jumpsuit. This one will dress up, too, but not cocktail attire dressy.
Finally, the Deep V jumpsuit by North of West is probably our most dressy jumpsuit for spring in the petite category. It has a drawstring waist which helps adjust for different torso proportions and comes in a beautiful waffle-knit gauze. Pair it with heels or boots. This one has a pretty straight cut leg so I also think it could get hemmed easily without losing a sense of the silhouette.
As always, let us know if you have fit questions--we love helping you find the right fit!
