A sample of tasks our customer associates perform:
-Selling: Making appropriate jewelry and clothing recommendations as well as suggesting gift ideas
-Assessing customers' needs through thoughtful questioning and excellent customer service skills
-Greeting and attending to customers
-Maintaining a clean, presentable, and inviting shop through dusting, cleaning, straightening and plant care
-Maintaining the merchandising vision with swift restocks and product rotation as well as adhering to Velouria merchandising standards
-Steaming and tagging new merchandise
We offer women a thoughtful selection of U.S. and Canadian-made clothing, jewelry and gifts. We are as in awe of our artists and designers as we are of our inspiring customers; therefore, we seek to provide a space where connection and community are nurtured through quality goods, informative customer service, and a commitment to giving back. Our biggest joy is creating moments of surprise and delight.
Customer associates usually work between 1 and 4 shifts a week for a total of 7-30 hours. This will include at least one weekend shift and at least one evening shift (ends at 7:30 PM).
